So much better than the foam mat I had previously which would slide and stretch. It feels so nice on your feet. I loved the eco friendly packaging it came in. First of all the look of this mat is beautiful, I was concerned that it might slip on my polished wooden floor but it doesn’t budge at all. Bought this mat to use in hot pod yoga as I get quite sweaty and I have bad hands so anything that helps with gripping to the mat helps, the material is suede like, I found it better than using a hot pod towel
