All the pictures are high quality from the older images to the more modern ones. I do not know a lot about motorcycles and their parts, though I know a little of the history of Harley-Davidson, and reading the text gave me a deeper appreciation of the evolution of the bikes. The book is not exhaustive of every Harley made but explores all their innovations in both design of the bike and the build of the engine. The images give nice photographs of the whole bike as well as details of the motor, and sometimes a variation in different models. The author, Mitch Bergeron, certainly seems to be knowledgeable of the bikes, and the intricate details pertaining to the changes that occurred during the development of each bike, so it becomes quite fascinating.
