I use this as my trade binder and carry it back and forth at least twice weekly, so the fact that this is a cushioned case is important to me. I didn't realize it that both the front and back covers were cushioned when I purchased it, so that was a nice surprise. The cushion also ensures that the pages have no movement when the binder is transported. Additionally, the strap that holds the binder closed wraps in the opposite direction as most others: when it is closed, the strap goes to the back, not the front (as most others I've seen). So as it sits closed on the table, the dragon is fully visible, which - and let's all be honest here - that's why we get binders with pretty pictures. So far the sleeves themselves have been durable, as I make frequent adjustments (trying to keep my cards in terrain set, then alphabetical order!). And sometimes more than one card ends up in one slot. It's very tight and clean, and keeps your cards from moving. The only downside is that you can't use penny sleeves with it. They are far too bulky. However, dragon shield's new perfect fits are, pardon me, perfect for this binder.
