I will return item. There is no stand and letters were already in a case . Letters do NOT have a back to stay on board. . Either I received a return item with all missing back supports or this item is defective. I have requested a replacement to see if this is the case. A few twists also remove letters pretty quickly but using the scissors is the best way. The spacing between the rows is just right to fix the letters firmly. I even gave the board a good shake, but the letters did not come off which was great. I now hang the board on the wall, and my wife loves putting inspirational quotes on it every day. Overall, a very good quality, sturdy product.
