Seems thick enough to wear without a slip if you prefer. The royal blue color is so pretty, I love it. Very soft. The need to hand wash and hang dry is the only thing I would change about it, otherwise perfect. I actually wash mine inside out in a garment bag on delicate then hang it up for about 24 hours inside out so pockets get dry. I have two of these dresses and it seems to be working out fine so far. It's a little narrower on top so wide set bra straps might pop out. Bought this AND the AUSELILY version, both in XL. This one's hem is about an inch shorter, and the pockets sit 2 whole inches lower. I am 5'8, 195 lbs, with 38D boobs and the XL doesn't look maternity or cling too much. I plan to be wearing this with leggings.
