Compatible with all metals including passive ones like stainless steel and aluminum, this 50ml green liquid adhesive ensures reliable, long-lasting thread locking with easy application and trusted Henkel quality. ## Description LOCTITE 270 - Permanent thread locker for threaded metal connections LOCTITE's thread locker is high strength and is ideal for permanently securing bolts, nuts and studs that must be completely secure. It can be used for all threaded connections made of active metals as well as passive metals. The adhesive prevents the threads from loosening due to vibrations and keeps fastenings permanently secured. For reliable connections, the thread locker is high strength and creates material fit connections between close-fitting metal surfaces for maximum performance. It tolerates minor surface contamination from industrial oils such as motor oil. Parts can be disassembled after heating to 300°C. To use, clean all surfaces with a cleaner and allow to dry. If necessary, apply activator (Loctite SF 7452) and allow it to dry. To avoid clogging the nozzle with the cured product, do not allow the tip to touch metal surfaces during application. For through holes, apply several drops to the bolt thread where the nut will sit. For blind holes, apply several drops inside along the thread to the bottom of the hole. For sealing applications, apply adhesive 360° in a ring on the end of the male thread, leaving the first thread free. Spread the material down to the bottom of the thread. For larger threads, adjust the quantity accordingly and also apply adhesive 360° in a ring on the internal thread. Assemble and tighten parts as usual.
