The feel is nice, soft but not knobby like a towel can be, it's more a smooth feeling. It's definitely not microfiber though - more like a really low-pile cotton. If you're expecting a real microfiber then you'll be disappointed.The reason I didn't give it a better review is because there is no grip on the bottom and while it has fabric corners that are supposed to loop around your mat the towel is too small. For me it was about .75 inches narrower than my yoga mat. I have a standard sized mat. It slips all around while you're on the mat which is pretty annoying. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It is thinner than expected... *by Y***D on March 26, 2018* The towel is beautiful, I picked the first left one. It was a lot thinner than what I expected but apparently it’s better for balance. The texture is quite smooth, not fluffy, or terry cloth, or towel-like, it feels more similar to polyester suede. As for it’s gripping ability, they recommend spraying with water before use, because I did not know that and I found that my feet were slipping a bit, but less than a regular towel. I am a novice yoga person who has RA so I’m not an intense yoga person. The towel is a bit larger than my standard yoga mat, the corners don't successfully wrap around the edges due to the large size which causes the towel to move a bit an wrinkle during practice, but other than that it gets the job done.
