The cover is durable if treated well, though it is weaker than desired since it's made of kraft paper (not craft paper). For most cases, this isn't an issue; those with harder presses while writing may consider placing this notebook on a harder surface.The spiral binding is sturdy, though it is too small to hold most pens. Though they did send me a lined top spiral (currently getting it replaced) instead of blacks I think its worth it. The cover isn’t as sturdy as i hoped but its as sturdy as normal journal. Also since there is no set cover you can use it left handed. The paper is good and feels nice when drawing.
