Nice tools. *by R***J on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 27, 2019* It's super cheap and you get what you pay for. This is not an exact replacement. The screen is slightly -but noticeably- thicker when you set it next to the original.One effect of this is that the home button will not click. The button sits farther from its backing shield/plate, so when you push down it doesn't get squeezed against anything to make the button press register. I 'fixed' this by adding 4 layers of painters tape to the backing shield.It is well packaged and the included tools are much better quality than I was expecting.Minor issues:The mount point for the front facing camera is misaligned. It works ok, but the camera is very visibly not centered in the hole. The camera sits snug in the mount and I couldn't see any way to adjust it without breaking the mount off.The screen has a harsh blue tint.The screen sticks out a little more because of its increased thickness. It's not really noticable if it's in a case of any sort. Without one, there's a bit of a sharp edge.The exterior bottom screws that hold the screen in place don't actually screw into anything substantial on the screen. They rotate freely. They are acting more as pins than screws. I put a little loctite on them to glue them in place so they don't fall out.The wet wipe included to clean the screen before applying the screen protector has lotion or soap or something in it that leaves a cloudy film on the screen as it dries. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good replacement but slightly thicker glass *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 12, 2019* This screen works well. It's a bit tedious to install as they all are but its certainly doable, especially if you are somewhat careful. Tools are included. YouTube a couple of videos in advance. The screen itself is thicker than the original apple screen. It does not impact use in an otterbox defender case with screen protector. Actually, it probably fits my case better now since it was a bit loose before and makes better contact with the screen protector now. The instructions lack detail, especially regarding the install of the new screen. There were a couple of peel off surface protectors inside the new screen which need to be removed before install. Also, you have to remove the camera and home button from the old screen and transfer them to the new screen, which adds to the difficulty. Again, not impossible. It just take a bit more time. Peeling off the home button is the most delicate part. You have to be careful not to tear the rubber by pushing up too hard with your finger. If the connector cables (ribbons) at the top seem to be in the wrong order, they might be, and you need to reorder them. Just pull one to the side and slide the right one in. Overall this is a good price for a quick 1-hour fix. My phone had water damage to the screen after I spilled something on it while it was out of its protective case and this was a good fix. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Legit replacement kit with parts, tools, and instructions *by O***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 13, 2019* I just successfully completed the replacement.The step-by-step instructions accompanying the kit for removal of the damaged screen are in English and accompanied by photographs.To replace the damaged screen with the new one, follow the instructions in reverse order.All required tools are included.A screen protector is also included.The entire kit is well packaged and the components are suitably protected.My experience with the product and the replacement procedure is positive.If you are going to perform the replacement yourself, I recommend laying out the screws and parts removed from the damaged device onto a mat or sheet of paper. You can draw a facsimile of the device onto the paper and place the screws/parts in their proper locations and orientations. This will make reassembly faster and help ensure you put the screws back into their original locations.Before ordering, I looked at many offers. I was skeptical of the quality and concerned that the replacement procedure would be too difficult. I ultimately selected this kit (Mr Repair Part, ASIN: B07JH5H7BZ, Item model number: MA-I6X-100).
