However, the safety clip could be sturdier, I have had my bar for less than 3 months and been using it regularly for the past 6 weeks and my safety clip broke (I am under 180lbs and the bar supports a max of 300lbs). The safety clip should definitely be sturdier and ideally more than one safety clip should be shipped with the bar. Now I am on a quest to replace the clip.Update: the company's website was not functioning right but I sent an e-mail to the help e-mail from the parent company and right away they offered to send me a replacement for the part and I received it a couple of days later. Professional and friendly customer service.
