The fact that it's a back pack and not a bottle in your hand makes it much easier to carry around. **Q: how much water does this hold?** A: It comes with a 50 oz. But I switched it for my 50 oz antidote better locking style camelback bladder. The regular bladder that comes with it is the old regular screw on and it tends to leak if you don't get it on just right. I really like the antidote locking style.
