I mixed the powder with water and tea tree oil (3 drops) to form a thick watery rinse. I dampened my hair and added the rise to my scalp/roots. I rubbed it into my scale for a few minutes then let it sit for a total of 5 min. I then washed it out of my hair with warm water. It felt grainy at first and I was worried it wouldn't come out. But I let my hair rinse under the warm water and used my fingers to massage all of it out. When my hair finally dried- It looked so shiny and clean!! It also doesn't feel crazy dry either like shampoo would do. This stuff is amazing.
