I bought this new warmer after using a simple Mr Coffee one with an on off switch which worked great for a long time. When that wast hot enough and they tripled the price I bought this one. Just now I laid my Iphone face down on this (IT WAS OFF AT THE TIME) and it apparently turned it on and my Iphone screen is burned. THAT IS NOT SAFE. I also dont like that it doesnt have a lip which could easily cause the mug to slide off and spill. It’s just as expected and keeps my tea hot as long as its on so I can sip and enjoy for a long while. I would suggest that if your cup gets down to half, turn the heat setting to medium as liquid can get pretty hot when it’s a small amount on high setting. I read complains about the beeping sound, but honestly think the dryer buzzer is much worse... not an issue for me.
