But. You need at least 5 inches clearance between the deck and the bottom of the cover.... Not likely. But, it can be picked up easily when you decide to deploy the cover. If the cover is on... I assume you do not need the guard **Q: Will this work with a Zodiac pool cleaner thats in motion 8 hours a day?** A: I'm not familiar with the zodiac but I have a navigator pool cleaner that runs 9 hours and it has NOT triggered this alarm. The manual also notes that gradual water entry might not be detected. It would also be affected by size of pool and number of alarms.
