I ordered a medium with a 33" length. I love these pants. I needed to find pants that didn't squeeze my waist and give me a muffin top AND came in lengths. These pants did the trick. I have read reviews about pilling. I have had mine for a few months and haven't experienced that. I have also read reviews that say the material is thick (heavy) and/or scratchy. Again, I do not find the material scratchy in the least. As far as the thickness or heaviness of the material, I guess it's a matter of taste.
