I love them because the 4 way lock in is great on trails, cyclocross- all my off road riding- easy in/out and the platform is nice but not too much- HOWEVER...it’s a good thing I love them because the bearings have stripped out on two different pairs, making me hesitant to keep buying them - or at least keeping me from buying the more expensive ones. I do love them though and they have served me well...I have to note when my right pedal broke free in a race....many people who passed me took one look and knew they were candies- making me wonder if this is a common problem. Anyways- you get to make that judgement call for yourself- when they don’t strip off, they work great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Pedal System *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2021* I bought these for my gravel bike and have been using them now since receiving them. They replaced the eggbeaters that I had been using and have been functioning flawlessly. I like the ease of clipping in and out, the float provided, and now the bit more platform that the candies provide over the eggbeater's. In gravel, this is important for long days in the saddle and when having to quickly remount the bike and pedal sometimes even before being able to reconnect with the pedal. I would recommend and I will buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best clipless pedals out there *by T***C on Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2020* Have used the standard Shimano clipless pedals in the past and they were just too restrictive and difficult to exit during a panic stop. I really love the Crank Brothers, enough float so your foot doesn't feel clamped in and e easy to exit with the right cleat exiting easier than the left by design.
