I don’t know if it takes the edge off because I don’t know where I’d be without it. But I can say I have hope, and probably in six months I’ll be ready to adopt a couple Kika cousins. And I have opened my heart to a kitty finding me, some furball recognizing a witch who lost her Familiar. Actually one came into my yard three times last week, maybe Kika sent her to check up on mommy. We stared intensely at each other and she decided to move on. But I’m sure he got the message that I’m mourning the loss of his constant love.
