I wear a size 7 hat but got a small because I like a snug fit. In that sense the small runs a little large but not by much. The material is nice and doesn't shed. The build is somewhat imperfect (e.g. seams don't line up symmetrically) but it adds a little handmade flavor (I don't know that these are handmade).The brim ridge is movable (so that you can cover your ears when its cold) but does expose unkempt seams when doing so. The inside of the hat is lined with material similar to the brow ridge (so the interior is also made from shearing material).

After 30 days....This winter has been very cold. I have been thinking about buying this hat for a while. Finally this cold winter made that decision. I have loved it ever since. Fit perfectly the fur is soft and warm. The leather is durable. I get compliments everywhere I go. This was a great purchase. If you are considering buying one stop thinking and do it. The first cold day you will see you won't regret it.
