So I tried folding it away from me and it seemed to work okay the next time and stayed closed. I think for extra protection it would be nice to have an additional fastener in the middle. It was very nice to unfasten one side and pour the apples into the bushel without losing one. It sure saves trips up and down the ladder! And no more holding a bucket. The fit is good because everything is adjustable. My garden is densely planted so when I get close to a plant for pruning it is not easy to move. This allows me to deadhead and simply put the clippings in the bag. I know I will use this for harvesting too.
