The good news is that it works. The bad news is that you probably don't need it unless you have a lot of mileage.Here's what you get for your money: (1) two packages of lens cleaner squares, (2) one package of letter sized cleaner paper, (3) 100 cotton swab sticks, (4) one replacement roller, (5) two replacement paper jiggler thingies, (5) a spray bottle of isopropyl alcohol and (6) instructions.If you've kept your manual, look in the back, or dig it out on the fujuitsu site for the instructions and the description of the replacement parts. It will show you enough to do the minor amount of disassembly needed.If you've scanned 50,000 pages, used carbonless paper, or scraped a lot of toner off on the rollers (heavy, dark, poorly fused), you probably do need to replace the roller.But if you're a lighter duty user, try this first. Collect the other parts. Get Uncle Bob, cousin Sue or someone else mechanically inclined if you aren't your self, and open the feeder unit, remove the plate with the paper width guide. Snap a picture and remove the jiggler thingie carefully. Gently press the clip to confirm it's still springy. Take a swab and clean it with a little alcohol and replace. Find the big gray roller. On the left there should be a brass doohickey to release the rod. The right bracket is fixed. Remove the rod and clean the roller, replace, making sure the left goes back in the way it was. With a swab or lens cleaner and a little alcohol clean the other rollers and all interior surfaces. Reassemble, scan the letter sized cleaner paper a couple of times. Test.I ended up not using the replacement parts, but I'll keep them against the day. Considering that I was almost ready to replace the unit, this was a bargain, but if I'd read the darn manual I could have figured this out--keep the unit clean and it will work better. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overpriced. After only a year and less than 10,000 pages, my scanner began ingesting more than one page at a time.I put off purchasing this overpriced consumable kit as I wasn't certain it was going to fix anything. But I figured I'd roll the dice and see what happens. I'm glad I did. Installation is very easy and the instructions were not difficult to follow. The result for me was a scanner that now works like new. You're also left with some extra cleaning supplies to help keep things running properly.If anyone at Fujitsu is listening, I hope they will reconsider the wasteful package this stuff comes in. The box is enormous and its contents take up less than 10% of its volume! Maybe they could even shave a few bucks off the price in the process of streamlining the packaging.. ### ⭐ DONT BUY. YOU WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS! *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on February 27, 2016* DO NOT by this kit to maintain a ScanSnap S1500. There are NOT Fujitsu products. It is a ScanAid product with packaging crafted to make you believe it is a Fujitsu product. There are two replacement parts in this kit and one does not fit properly and the other cannot be put into the scanner at all. The two parts are the pad and the pick roller. The pad had to be forced into place using the blade of a screw driver. I had to press so hard I was afraid I would crack the plastic housing on the ADF cover. I had another scanner and the Fujitsu OEM pad easily could be removed and replaced in that unit so it IS a difference in manufacturing. The horror show didn't end with the pad. The pick roller was replaced and could not be made to fit at all. It snaps into place on the pick roller shaft a full quarter of an inch to the right from the position the Futjitsu OEM roller sits and the shaft then cannot then be reinserted. I am throwing this junk back into the box and shipping it back to Amazon. I love Amazon but I'm VERY disappointed that Amazon allows this product to be sold.
