Wont shine or crack! Literally the BEST! *by on Reviewed in the United States August 2, 2023* Not all caulking is the same and this is the choice of so many pros for a reason. I have used hundreds of different types of caulking in my career and this is just on another level. There’s a reason so many pros use this you don’t get those shiners where once you paint over you get a big glowing spot eventually like you do with other caulking. it’s so flexible and the big thing is how long it last for even in the baking sun and extreme weather.For the slight price difference, I just can’t think of any good reason to use another lower form of caulking anymore, it is really that well rounded and that good! Last for years and years, haven’t had one bead fail yet like most brands do after a year, especially when exposed to heat and cold. This product has insane amount of stretch, just the compression will cause a bulge so plan accordingly. That is why adding some backer rod is super cheap and makes a massive difference, don;t skip on backer for larger cracks over about 1/3” when on wood or any other expanding/contracting materials.***Pro Tip*** when caulking, even just a little, purchase a tile sponge and get it wet, they are only $2. You can then use that as your wipe off tool. Once you are about the spread the caulking with your finger, dab on the wet sponge first. Then once done spreading, use the revers side to wipe off the excess from your hand. Then when all done, you can just rinse the tile sponge under some water and you’re good to go and can use it over and over and over.
