He is very picky in what he wants and it is hard to find what he wants. However, this planner fit the bill. It has the years in it so you can look at all the months at a glance but the sheets are monthly. He didn't want all the days in the planner he just likes to write things in the boxes on each day within the month. This planner also lays flat, as it has a spiral edge. I was pleased with the size and layout, which are similar to the planners I've used in the past. It even has room for notes on the side of the page, which is a nice bonus. The cover is a sturdier plastic material, and my only (very minor) complaint is that it is a little too rigid for my preference. But it is certainly sturdy and will hold up well to my heavy use and being banged around in my laptop bag.
