Took and chance and ordered again, don't know what they changed but these are full of flavor. They are not crunchy cookies, so if you like that snap these are not for you. If you like a tasty chew cookie then these are it. The almond flavor taste like the almond cookies you get a Chinese Restaurants. For the reviewers that think these taste exactly like shortbread cookies, I would say that it must have been a very long time since they last had a real shortbread cookie. I didn't find any similarity between these and shortbread cookies other than the color.
