Tried to use the home key, it works pretty good. I know there is video to teach you how to replace it. But it would be better if there’s a written manual came with the kit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very surprised - Thank you *by R***. on August 8, 2018* I purchased this recently as my daughter is know in our house as "the destroyer of phones". Very easy to install and the display is just as nice as the original. It came as advertised with the camera and home button and all the tools necessary for the job. Super easy installation. I was also surprised to find it came with a screen protector, which was a must as it's going back to my daughter. There was a nice follow up email with a video for how to instructions on the screen replacement. Keep in mind the finger print touch ID will no longer work as it is hard encoded in the phone with the original screen. You just have to use the code to unlock. Cheaper than buying a new phone for though. Thanks a lot! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good replacement screen; reviewed by a real legit Buyer *by S***C on August 29, 2018* I have replaced a number of phone screens in the past and the build quality was good. It came with a satisfactory tool kit and although I have my own tools, I could have used their set to get the job done. They emailed the repair how-to video the day the product was due to arrive but didn’t need to watch as I repaired from memory. The replacement screen protector was also decent and had no problems installing. I paid for this and did not get anything free to post this review. For such a cheap price, you can’t go wrong with this. If you are a novice, buy two and watch as many quality repair YouTube videos that you can and make your mistakes with the first kit. The problems I had in the past was mainly lost screws or I didn’t pay attention which screws went where...some screws are so long that they will trash your phone if you install incorrectly. Don’t let this scare you. Just get a magnet pad and put the screws on that in order and take good notes or roll packaging tape,in reverse over something and use the sticky side to order your screws. It’s not rocket science but does take practice.
