I use this mat for both yoga and pilates. This is a standard-sized yoga mat with slightly extra padding...just enough so it feels sturdy, well-built, and not flimsy like the yoga mats on offer at my gym. The color is very pretty, true to the color in this ad, and it stays in place on the floor. The surface isn't slippery, so I can do my poses with ease. The mat rolls up fairly easily and when unrolled, the little bit of curl at the end flattens out quickly. My only pet peeve is that the mat expands after you pack it away in its drawstring carrying bag, so when you go to unpack it, it can be very difficult to pull out of the bag. I'm going to try rolling it tighter than I already do to see if that helps.
