There really is very little space for the wiring and wire nuts inside the fixture, especially if you're wiring them in series. Fortunately I had plenty of excess wire from the fixtures I was replacing and could measure the wires to exactly the right length for each fixture to fit in the tiny recess area. The effort to align and wiggle stuff into place probably made the install take twice as long. If you're not prepared for the time commitment or making on the fly adjustments, this might be a job you want to hire out.I'd probably recommend the model without the usb unless you really need it because the internal usb electronics take up a lot of space, the usb will provide power but it's not fast (if you're thinking of quickly charging a phone), and it's only ON when the light is ON.I've had these installed for a month now and we like them. The ability to selectively adjust the color temperature as needed, turn on each light as needed, or turn them all on/off with a switch makes them so much nicer than the old flourescent style.
