Its innovative stay shut collar prevents separation, while the thumb screw adjustment allows for easy fitment and movement along the spit rod. Perfect for grilling chicken wings, whole chickens, and larger vegetable cuts, this rotisserie basket is a must-have for any grilling enthusiast. ## Description The OneGrill Rotisserie Tumble Basket has been designed and engineered to exceed the quality standards of other economy tumble style baskets available. This basket features an increased chrome coating for extended life and appearance. Additionally, this tumble basket features an exclusive stay shut collar to combat the design flaws seen in comparable models of product separation during use (those with only a single tightening collar). With close ratio grating this basket is versatile for a variety of cooking mediums. Please note that the largest grate spacing on this basket is 1" of separation and that foods with a profile smaller than 1" should not be placed in the basket as the opportunity for ejection does exist. Please consider that as food cooks it will generally shrink, this should be considered when preparing food and filling the basket to ensure no food is ejected as the food cooks and ultimately shrinks in size. For heavy weight loads or those of extreme imbalance it is recommended to provide additional tying to the basket to prevent separation during cooking; generally butchers twine is a suitable material. This item is designed to fit both 5/16" & 3/8" square and 1/2" hexagon spit rods. Best performance will be realized with usage of a 1/2" hexagon spit rod as the clamping surface area of the rod is greater. Product is backed by our OneGrill 1 year "No Hassle Warranty". However, I had read a lot of negative reviews of products of this type from other manufacturers, (check out the comments that have been left for the Napoleon Rotisserie 64003 Tumble Basket, Non-stick or the GrillPro 24764 Non-Stick Tumble Basket). At first glance, the OneGrill product looked the same as the others, but it had no comments at all, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Look closely at the picture of this product & you'll see that this is made up of two (identical) half-cages, each of which has a screw at one end, and a hole (OK - a bent bar) at the other end. You put the two halves face to face, thread the spit through the holes and tighten the screws. There's not a lot to go wrong. These cages are mostly intended to be used for making grilled vegetables, and I'm sure they do that well enough. But I found a different purpose for mine that you may want to consider. I am a big fan of Alton Brown's "Good Eats" TV show, and I was especially enthralled by his program about making Gyros at home (it's on youtube with a title something like 'my big fat greek sandwich"). Essentially, his recipe calls for you to make a kind of a lamb meatloaf, skewer it and put it on a rotisserie (and I'm talking about a horizontal rotisserie, since most of us don't have a vertical unit like the ones you see in Greek restaurants). According to the comments on the foodnetwork site, a number of people who tried it found that the meatloaf fell apart while it was turning on the spit. Not good....Enter the OneGrill basket. I made the loaf per Brown's recipe, and put it in the cage before skewering it. The cage holds the meat together so there is no danger of the gyros loaf tumbling down into the firebox while you're cooking. The results were nothing short of amazing. Now admittedly, the cage is HOT when you take it off the grill, and taking it apart while it's hot can be a problem - so it doesn't address all the complaints about the Napoleon & GrillPro cages - but hey - you're barbecuing, what do you expect?.. I suspect I'm going to find a lot more uses for this thing. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Seller Great Product bad *by R***L on August 6, 2015* Nothing wrong with the seller. The product itself is of poor quality. Was hoping it was like my last grill basket in that it was hinged. That was not the case with this product. came in two halves and was hard to get cinched together and when done you have to pull the rotisserie rod out to open and the items inside went every where. Also smaller pieces fall through the gaps in the wire. I needed to cover with screen which took me the better part of 2 hours to do. A better product to buy is the George Foreman rotisserie. It has a hinged door and small screen where materiel does not fall out ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Should have come with intructions of how to use it. *by D***T on July 31, 2020* One you figure out how the two half's go together,it works well. Cleaning takes a while. I usually soak them overnight to make it easier. ## Frequently Bought Together - OneGrill Hexagon Tumble Grill Rotisserie Basket - Fits Large Spit Rods - onlyfire 6042 Chrome Plating Steel Flat Grill Rotisserie Basket for Most Grills, Fits 1/2" Hexagon, 3/8" Hexagon, 3/8" Square & 5/16" Square Spit Rods - Onlyfire 6902 Universal Barbecue Grill Stainless Steel Rotisserie Motor Bracket Set --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/8894177-onegrill-hexagon-tumble-grill-rotisserie-basket-fits-large-spit-rods](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/8894177-onegrill-hexagon-tumble-grill-rotisserie-basket-fits-large-spit-rods) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
