It is long however - I'm 5'6 and it hits around my knees, which I like (just like the photo) - but might be too long on someone a few inches shorter. Perfect for winter/fall layering! It's thick and comfortably warm. the grey is more of a medium gray heather than the solid dark grey as pictured, which is fine by me. the knit is well made, I'm not concerned about snags or having it fall apart in the wash.
