How??** A: put the tool on as if you’re clamping it. Then work side to side and clamp will snap. Wear your safety squints **Q: How is the calibration tool used?** A: I got one because of a few small jobs I had to do,very easy to operate and it is only made for the stainless clamps. When you clamp it down you squeeze until it releases automatically. Crimping took a lot more force than my previous crimper (loaned out & lost). This does what I need. Removed two crimp rings, and it didn't cut them well at all. The actual crimps seem to be good and solid. Nice case, keeps everything together so it doesn't get lost if you don't use it often. I really like the included cutter. It's much smother than my old one.
