Flash forward 8 years and I couldn't find the Goody ones ANYWHERE. Not target, walmart, or hair supply stores. So distraught. I found these on Amazon and not only are they a great deal, they've worked amazingly. I tend to use one hair tie until it falls apart, then use another one, slowly working my way through the pack. I got these first a few months ago and the first hairband I've used is still plugging along! A lot longer life than I expected it might have. The grippy parts start to snap a little bit but even if it snaps in one place, the grippiness still works and keeps my hair where I want it when I'm working or at the gym. I like using this much more than the full silicone bands since it does not snag my hair at all so it is very easy to take out. The silicone bands are great but impossible to get out without pulling your hair. The down side is I find the stretch to this is not always that great but you can make it work you just have to pull it tight.
