Sometimes the bush remains inside the tap, other times it comes out stuck to the cartridge. If your Cartridge and bush come out together and your tap is dripping from the spout then you can try to separate them and re-use the old bush. If your tap is leaking a the joint of the tap and the handle then you will need to replace both cartridge and bush. HOW TO TELL IF MY HOT OR COLD SIDE IS LEAKING? You will need to isolate the supply to the hot and cold feeds. It is not always possible to tell just from the temperature of the drip. If you are not sure then we advise to replace both. If you would like to purchase a single then we have separate listings available for both the hot and the cold. HOW TO REMOVE/ FIT THE NEW CARTRIDGE Turn off the water supply. Put the plug in to ensure you do not lose any screws or small parts down the plug hole. Move the lever handle forward to that you can access the grub screw. Use your allen key supplied to remove the screw at the back of the handle. Once the handle is removed you can unscrew the cover. Once the cover is removed you can use your spanner to remove the cartridge from the tap block. It will unscrew Anti-clockwise. Clean the inside of the tap block and re-fit the new cartridge. The purchase includes a mini tool to help do the switch over. It was easy to do the replacement of the old to new cartridges and the drippy tap is now fixed at very good value for money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to install *by E***H on 16 July 2021* I used this product to replace the cartridges in an 11 year old Franke Olympus kitchen mixer tap which was dripping. The only issue I had was that I had to drill out the tap levers a couple of mm so that they sat flush with the cartridge cover which sits between the mixer body and tap lever. Minor problem and easily resolved with the right sized drill bit. Other than that, they were delivered promptly, were very easy to fit and so far not a drip to be seen.
