I would like to use enough for it to be effective, but not to much as to waste it.** A: I believe it's (1) tablespoon per (5) gallons. My container is a 1/2 gallon. (1) tbsp. = 15 ml I use 1.5 ml per 1/2 gallon. You can use an oral syringe (child's medicine syringe) to measure out that amount. I add enough to wet the soil through being careful not to touch the foliage; just the dirt. **Q: what are the ingredients?** A: Since it says “neutral pH,” Im confident that this isn’t mainly composed of potassium hydroxide. 😂 Nonylphenol polyethylene glycol ether sounds far more likely than potassium hydroxide, KOH, lye, soda ash… It’s also sulphuric acid, uranium, and arsenic, and table salt. **Q: How to use on hanging baskets** A: I use E Z wet on my hanging baskets once the weather gets hot out and the soil in my baskets start to pull away from the sides and the soil doesn’t take water easily. I follow the directions on the bottle and use once every other week if needed.
