Depending on what brand and fit, I go from an L to an XL. I was worried since I am thicker that these would not go over my knee. These definitely reached well past my knee & had a stretch to them that didn’t make it too tight. They ended right where I wanted them and didn't make my thigh's bulge out too much, which was great. I do use a garter belt to help keep them up and it made it so it fits perfectly around. I also did stretch them a little bit over night around a bowl and that made it so there is no bulging.
