I bought this aloe gel on a whim at 3 am because my face was stinging so badly from either too many actives or some kind of allergic reaction to something. Just burning stinging pain with dryness so bad I couldn’t sleep. When this came in the mail the next day I put it in the fridge with all the hope in the world. After showering I slathered a huge amount of it on my face as a mask and let it sit there till it dried all the way down. There was no stickiness at all so I just put a lotion on top and went to bed. By the time I woke in the morning my face was much much better. Still compromised but less painful and more importantly I was able to sleep. I definitely recommend keeping in the fridge.
