More than my small needs require but glad I got the larger throat and throws. Now just getting it onto the bench at 600 lbs. a little leary of where the lifting eye is placed. Looks to only support thr motor and worried it will place a lot of stress on the gearing. (Myown phobia) they made it that way but such a small eye hook. Going to try and place it with a fork instead. If you’re going to mill this is the way to go but if not I’d just get a drill press. **Q: Can this machine be "Trammed" in , meaning the spindle being square and plum with the table or is their no adjustment to do this on the machine.** A: I don't think so. Not sure what you mean by "square ". The head swivels left or right and goes up and down. Hope this helps. **Q: How difficult is it to put a digital readout on this machine?** A: They provided a place to mount it but I haven't done it. Looks easy. **Q: Are the gears for the drilling head plastic or metal? Looking to do alot of drilling in hard material** A: My guess is that they are metal. I've done a lot of drilling myself and haven't had a problem yet. I've had mine for 9 years now. If you buy one check the wiring, though. We bought one for work in 2012 and the wiring was all messed up.
