Compartments are a decent size for smart-phones, wallets, purses and also stop you over-filling it with unnecessary "junk". Two minor points, maybe not criticisms though: I wear it using the over-shoulder strap, and felt this would have benefitted from a little more padding, rather than the unforgiving strap which cuts into a T-shirt.
