I'm used to bringing on seeds, but for some reason they all just died, they started coming through then that was it. Dead. Never had this happen before so I'm not sure if I did something wrong. I also had other seeds on the go which all thrived so it's a mystery. **Q: So how do you germinate them? It says don’t cover with soil so does this mean you sit them on soil? Thanks** A: Right. Some plants are light germinators, which means that the seeds need not only water and well-tempered soil, but also direct sunlight to germinate. Moisten the growing soil well and then place the seed on top of the soil. Swelling coconut peat tablets are well suited, because they draw water from below. Unfortunately, lavender seeds are very difficult to germinate, so don't be disappointed if it takes a few tries to succeed. **Q: Can you get English lavender?** A: I ordered these but didn’t really get any lavender plants grow so not good quality seeds unfortunately **Q: hi just bought a packet of lavender seed not open yet can i start planting them or wait until spring ??** A: Hi Ann, we would recommend you to start directly with the cultivation, because it is not too late and with lavender it can take a few tries until something germinates and grows.
