I originally ordered the XXL based on the sizing in the description. However, it was too large, and made everything look a little weird. I had hope, though, and reordered a size XL, and it fit perfect, and due to that, the plaid part hanging down then looked the way it should. Very cute on, and I've even washed it since I got it, laid it out flat, and it looked perfect once dried. I have tons of animals, and happy to say that at least so far, it isn't a hair magnet.
