A: Yes if you dont tie it or tape it 
Its braided

A: The package states twisted line, it feels braided but
when cut it you can clearly see it's definitely twisted !

A: I say so pretty strong

A: I would not use this to tie a tree to the roof of your car. Abrasion and vibration from the drive would likely fray and break the string. Works great for a taught straight string line.
