Why does this happen?** A: You have probably got the spacing of the brackets to far apart, or the material that you fixed the screws to is not firm enough, remember these brackets are made out of plastic and therefore flex when operated, minor adjustment of the brackets final position may be necessary to achieve a tight fit to the blind, its a bit of a fiddle P.W. **Q: Is there a join in the cord?** A: There is no join in the cord. They don’t come with anti-ligature brackets. **Q: Can the cord be shortened?** A: It is a beaded type cord so not very easily. .
