I bought it along with the Triple 8 dual certified sweat saver, so that I could compare both. The certified sweat saver is soooo much more comfortable and better fitting than this one. I measured my head and ordered the proper sizes based off the measurements. The certified sweat saver sits low on my head, is lightweight, and surprisingly comfortable for being a helmet. The pads inside that one are nice and soft. This one with the MIPS technology, it sits way high up on my head, and feels uncomfortable on my head, and the pads are barely even pads, more like pieces of fabric. I was willing to give the MIPS technology a try, but the certified sweat saver is a better fit for me, and still has safe technology being that it's dual certified. Maybe in the future, the MIPS one will not only be as safe but as comfortable as the current dual certified helmets.As far as the quality, it looks to be a good quality triple 8 product. Smooth matte finish, beautiful color, sturdy well made straps. It's just very uncomfortable, which wouldn't have encouraged me to wear it. ### ⭐⭐ There's no head adjustment to this helmet except the chin strap. *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2020* Not sure what makes this MIPS when all the other MIPS helmets I've gotten my kids have this extra shell that's actually separate from the helmet surface itself. Sure, they have a thin yellow plastic glued to inside the helmet...but what makes it MIPS? People tell me triple eight is supposed to be nice skateboard helmets. So, I bought two different models for my kids. One of my kids is adjustable and it was cheaper without the MIPS. this one is MIPS and has no adjustment. Both were more expensive than others. I think Triple Eight just got a niche going by being associated with skateboarding and roller blades and whatnot, but not that they're an actual quality product any more than say a Schwinn bike helmet you get at Walmart. At least all Schwinn helmet's (actually all bike helmets) I've ever seen are adjustable. For the price of less material than adult helmets in the same price range without any ability to adjust is...a rip off in my book. Literally there's no additional system to cushion the blow when my kid hits the ground it's all foam into his skull. No wait. there is that yellow plastic piece as thin as paper in there...that's the MIPS. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ OUR OFFICIAL MIPS UPGRADE GEAR *by Q***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2020* We bought several sizes of this helmet as our official MIPS upgrade gear for various activities. We use it for biking and electric scooter riding mostly. It has the latest safety technologies and certifications so we chose this. In Florida it gets hot here and this remains cool and comfortable so far.I wish it came in ladies colors though because we are all women wearing them in blue.We just wear blue jeans and blues in our blouses to match it on the mobility days we use them. LOL We would have liked white or pink.
