Please note that we do not recommend adjusting the limit switches to avoid damage to the actuator. This linear actuator is equipped with a 1000N high-power motor for both pushing and pulling. In consideration of product life, we recommend that the long-term use load does not exceed 900N. We give each linear actuator two brackets and a couple of screws as standard so you can mount the product where you need it. Update 2: I ordered a replacement, and once it arrived I installed it onto my fence -- and found that its CLOSE position was about 1/8" shorter than the first one. The drilled hole in the rod is in the same position relative to its end. The issue seems to be that the STOP limit switch adjustment is a little different between units. It would be great if there was access to adjust those open and close limit switches, but there is not. So I had to move over my fence bracket that 1/8" to compensate.
