They're heavy and have rather good balance for throwing knives. The only issue I have is that, if you get a little violent with them (Throwing with a decent force behind you) the tips of the blades easily bend and bow. In my opinion you pay for what you get. For the price, you can't expect to get too good of a throwing knives. While they claim to be steel, even for someone throwing at my strength. (5'4" woman.) I was able to bend the tips simply hitting a target. When I received the blades, they were oddly sharp, which is a plus! As long as the points on the knives are strong, they usually work well for throwing. However, I was rather impressed with the fact that they were sharpened to perfection upon opening the package. They did come with a fabric carrier to hold them in when not using them. The holster has a loop so that you can fasten it to your belt if you're holding multiple sets. Even with the damaged points on the knives, I'm still able to throw. While its a hindrance, and often causes them to not throw straight, there's an easy fix to this if you're a do-it-yourself person. A little bit of heat and a hammer will straighten them right out!
