While we have a few other lights (including a Fenix) the Nebo's have been a great value. I don't think I liked this light as much as the 'redline' style initially but my opinion has changed as we've used it more. The first plus is it is flat - I hang these on our metal doors and basement shelves for when they are needed and they don't stick out making them also stand out less to guests. They are always where I need them where I need them and they have been very easy to charge. When the power goes out they will adequately light a decent size room and in the basement they provide very good extra light. Getting more for other areas... ### ⭐⭐ Infuriating design choice... could have been the perfect light *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2022* There is a major flaw with this light... it dims itself over time. I'm sure this "feature" is great at yielding certain battery life claims for marketing purposes. But it is maddening when you're working in a tricky space, get everything all set up just right, with both hands occupied... and you can see the light getting less and less bright while you're trying to work. This is clearly one of those design choices made to benefit the manufacturer, not the end user. When I command the light to be a certain brightness, it's because I need it to be that brightness! Not 90%, or 70%, or 50% of that brightness. I'd rather the light exhaust its battery maintaining my chosen brightness. If not for this, I would've considered this the perfect light. So close... But look elsewhere for a tool that will serve YOU, not its maker.P.S. Occasionally I encounter the issue where the light will not turn on -- only the green LED. In this situation, I simply turn it on, then hold down the power button.
