If you put this together alone, you're asking for trouble and when putting the top bar into the side arms, WATCH YOUR FINGERS...leave the bolts very loose and work with someone else to coordinate. You definitely want a drill with a driver bit...tighten evenly around the thing, not all at once or you'll be miserable. The tools that came with it are an injury waiting to happen...too small and not enough torque to safely turn the virtually impossible to hand-tighten bolts. Pleased once it was over, but it was a tough build. Review: It's a keeper! - The swing was not easy to put together (have your own personal tools on hand). Some of the bags were mislabeled, which confused the process, but we figured it out. It is definitely a 2 person job. Once the swing was all put together, it is fantastic. The swing is comfortable and the top does not collect water.
