Offering significantly more light than conventional fluorescent systems, High Output T5 lighting is an excellent choice for saltwater, reef, or freshwater tropical aquariums. Aqualight High Output T5 Dual Lamp Fixtures come complete with two high output lamps. Each high output lamp can provide approximately twice the light output of a traditional T8 lamp making these fixtures a great choice for saltwater aquariums and aquariums with live plants.

Review: great for my 90 gallon aquarium - I have been using this on my 90 gallon full planted tank in conjunction with a 48 inch double bright marineland LED light fixture, without this I was not getting the spread in the tank or the depth I needed for my plants. After I started using this light I noticed a rapid growth in my plants. As you can see in the photo I include that the combination of the 2 lights has created a nice jungle in the water. I would recommend this light for anyone wanting a planted aquarium light for a 4 foot aquarium that does not need high light. I do think this light would work fine with medium light in the brightest part of the beam or in shorter tanks than my 90 gallon.

It’s housing the daylight bulb and an Arcadia uvb bulb (with the plastic splash guard removed) To my surprise the “feet” can be placed anywhere along the grooves! Which is great cause I’m currently using a slightly smaller enclosure temporarily until I finish setting up the bigger one.

**Q: I have a 36g bow front that is exactly 30" wide. Will the 30" light be able to sit well on the rim of the glass or will it be just a hair too short?**
A: those handle looking things in the pic are plastic risers/legs but they come off for a flat sit too

**Q: what is the wattage of the bulbs?**
A: 120v 39w

**Q: This 10k lamps for reef tanks?**
A: Yes. I currently use the 24" on my 20 gal reef and 36" on my 40gal breeder reef.

**Q: why doesnt it say what bulbs are included?**
A: Don't know, however I always research extensively on all my purchases. A t-5 10,000 k daylight bulb, and a t-5 artic blue light. I really have liked mine for use and function. My tank is 24" deep.  However, algae also really like the daylight bulb, and I turn off my light when I'm at work to curtail this. audrey

After I started using this light I noticed a rapid growth in my plants. As you can see in the photo I include that the combination of the 2 lights has created a nice jungle in the water. I would recommend this light for anyone wanting a planted aquarium light for a 4 foot aquarium that does not need high light. Really nice fixture for the price. I was specifically looking for one that only had one cord for both bulbs. I’m using this for a chameleon enclosure. High quality product. I love the plexiglass spashguard, especially with my open-top tank. I have a fully-planted high-tech 75 gal setup, and while my plants are growing and happy, they aren't pearling. If you just dose Flourish Excel or don't have many plants, this would work great for you. If you inject carbon and have a lot of plants competing for light, either buy 2 of this product or go with T5 HO light setup with 3 or 4 bulbs.
