This is because it is ok (at best) when you get it. A short while later, the ‘stick’ wears off of what holds the piece of glass on to the base of the product. Then the glass repeatedly falls out. Double-sided tape or hot glue did not fix this issue - we tried both. The glass still continuously falls out. My older mother relies on this to see while driving and the glass falling out has been a hazard.
