**Q: for the 15-pin, what is the spacing of the mounting screws and their distance from  d-sub back-side?**
A: 43mm 15 75

**Q: Do all 9 of the screw terminals connect to the pins, or only the ones necessary for rs232 communication? i am trying to use these for rs485.**
A: 9 pins to 9 terminals. the terminals are all numbered.

**Q: What hardware size is used for the jack-screws? i see from description that screw-size is 2.5mm but what is the thread pitch?**
A: 99.9% it is the standard 4-40 as used in billions of D  connectors

**Q: is there a schematic showing pin-pin connections? pics only please; png, jpeg, gif, etc.. thanks**
A: Shine a light on DB15 end! Pin numbers are embossed in the black plastic. 3, 5, 7 on top row; 9, 11, 13, 15  on bottom row. numbers are on the right of pin hole. Ohmmeter or simple continuity tester of Led, 470 ohm resistor and 9 V battery will also answer this question.
