The cups are durable and larger than most others that fold up. I especially like the metal lip which hold the cover on. Have filled the cups up with liquid, and placed cover on, shook it up, and the cover stays tight - no leaks. Also like that that there is a large base to the cup. makes it stand steady. Filled each one with water and covered with the attached plastic cover. There was no leak when I turned the cups upside down. It is a good size cup that holds a good amount if liquid. Definitely great for travel. It is not insulated so even if the silicone will not melt if very hot liquid (or even boiling water) is poured into it, you can still injure your hand from the heat. The silicone odor is not too strong.
