Review: Difficult to assemble but well worth the effort - After searching around for a plastic shed we decided on this one because of the wood effect; we wanted something that wouldn’t look overly “plasticky” like others we looked at, and this shed delivered. The exterior is a faux wood effect complete with the texture of woodgrain. I have to say that we had to turn down the first delivery as it was delivered damaged (the transport straps had ripped into the package), but after the money was returned I purchased another and the second was delivered safely. The shed comes delivered in one box which is both large and cumbersome to move, so definitely make sure you have a large enough space to properly open it out and unpack everything. Pros: 1) Very sturdy. One of our main worries about a plastic shed was if it was going to be sturdy enough, particularly in bad weather. When we started assembling the pieces we were slightly worried, as the side panels are made of a kind of corrugated plastic wedged between two flat pieces. But once assembled the shed is very strong and sturdy and has withstood both strong winds and heavy rain with no problem. 2) The appearance is definitely very nice. It looks smart in the garden and doesn’t jump out at being a plastic shed; the neighbours have commented on how nice it looks. Cons: There aren’t really any cons to this shed, however, after assembling it there are a few pointers I’d like to point out for potential buyers. The instructions specify that you need an electric screwdriver for this, and to begin with we used a manual screwdriver which worked fine. However, there are some metal components (the trim of the doors and the doorway surrounded) in which you use the self-drilling screws provided. You definitely need an electric screwdriver for this, and even with one, they are particularly difficult to get in due to the fact that there aren’t any holes in the metal to screw through. To help make the process easier we drilled a small hole in the desired area and then used the electric screwdriver. Additionally, the roof is an absolute nightmare to get on. This process probably took us around a day to do, as when you got one corner of the roof ‘popped’ onto the wall, the other corner would pop off. In the end, we had one person on the outside pulling the roof down and another using the provided spatula to ease it on from the inside. There is also a step where after you put the roof on, you then attach the metal apex roof frame in the inside; and doing so we ended up undoing all our hard work with the roof multiple times as we would accidentally knock it off the walls. In the end, we skipped that step and screwed the roof on from the inside (the step after the apex frame), and then went back to slot the metal apex in place – I wished we’d done this from the beginning as it made things so much easier. It’s also worth knowing that the floor of the shed is made from the same corrugated material as the walls, which meant that it was easy to accidentally dent it when climbing on a stepladder to reach the higher areas. It’s worth having something down on the floor (we used to cardboard) to prevent this from happening. Overall, we’re glad that we went for this. The assembly was a bit of a nightmare and took 2.5 days to complete, but it’s well worth it for the finished product. The interior space is nice and large, the walls and roof are sturdy, and it looks the part. I would definitely recommend buying this, however, I would also make note of the pointers I discussed above.
Review: Looks excellent (6 x 8 ft door is on the 6ft side) - Watch out... the doors on the 6 x 8 ft shed are on the shortest (6ft) side. The desertcart picture must be the smaller shed. This caused a big mess with the position and base! It took two of us a couple of days to sort out the base and put the shed up. There were two further issues (1) bent corner vertical trim which I just about managed to fit at the back so it isn't visible and (2) a bent door frame which means that there is a 1.5cm gap at the bottom when closed. The shed has been in 6 months and even with the above issues it is fantastic. It's dry, looks great and has no sign of wear yet. Yes the floor is spongy but it's been fine for storing bikes and light use. I'm planning to put some racking in for my tools so it will definitely need chipboard laying first. In summary: 10 out of 10 for looks 8.5 out of 10 for waterproof (door gap lets it down slightly) 7 out of 10 for robustness (it is surprisingly solid once built but the floor lets it down for heavy load) 10 out of 10 for longevity - based on the past 6 months it is very likely to last for many years

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I want to place my shed at the corner. Can I set it up first and push it to the corner ? Will it be damaged?**
A: Hi Mate, yes you can set it up and push into location later. We purchased 2. We built one fully and lifted the shed into location. It did require 3 people to gently lift it but, it does become quite strong/secure when assembled. its not too heavy....just a bit bulky and awkward to get a good grip.

**Q: Would a motorcycle fit in this?**
A: Unless it’s a mini bike then no

**Q: With the shed being plastic, is a proper shed base still needed ?**
A: Yes a solid level base is very important, otherwise the shed will be prone to twisting. The shed looks great when put together.

**Q: Is there a service that can assemble it ?**
A: If you keep a regular check on it you’ll find the price often changes and sometimes includes the assembly too which I got. They will assemble for an extra £75 but look for the deals. Very happy with mine.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Horrible "self drilling" screws. Looks nice once it's up
*by J***M on 4 October 2021*

Managed to put this shed up mostly by myself, but needed an extra pair of hands to offer the roof up. Be warned though, there are a lot of pieces, and a lot of screws to screw in. So the whole thing took the best part of a day. On opening the box one of the pieces was broken - a piece of plastic that attached to the main roof beam was completely snapped. On closer inspection it looked like a screw that held it on had been driven in too hard at the factory and cracked the piece at both ends. Thankfully managed to get around it. The main problem are the tiny "self drilling" screws which take some effort with the drill driver before they finally decide to bite and go in and you're constantly dropping them on the floof because they are so fiddly and small to hold - and you only get the exact amount you need so don't lose any. Do yourself a favour and buy a box of decent self tappers. The biggest advice with this shed is to make sure your base is absolutely level. I thought mine was fine until I got to the very end - putting the doors on - and found that the doors wouldn't shut or line up. Then I just leant on the side of the shed and it brought the doors into line. Turns out there there was a problem with the back corner not being level so I shoved an old roof tile under the base to lift if slightly and problem solved. All in all, once up it's a nice looking shed. Nice and dry inside with no leaks. Not sure where they get their measurements from though because it's no way 6x8, more like 5.5x7.5. I can confirm that the doors are on the 6ft wall where you would expect them and not on the side wall which some people have wrongly suggested.
